QUARTERLY:
- Copyright sound recordings owned by the record company with the library of congress
- Create master recording files for masters owned by record company
- Document & secure direct sales report from record company
- Prepare artist royalty statements for record company
- Prepare producer royalty statements for record company
- Prepare publisher royalty statements for record company
- Research and interpret distributor reports for record company
MONTHLY:
- Enter master use licensing information in record company database
AS PRODUCED:
- Create license request files for outside publishers
- Research song data (securing copyright information from publishers)
AS REQUESTED:
- Negotiate and issue master use licenses on behalf of record company
- Review artist agreements
- Review producer agreements
- Secure mechanical licenses for outside songs on masters owned and/or distributed by record company
- Secure multimedia licenses from outside publishers for products owned and/or distributed by record company
- Secure print licenses from outside publishers for uses on product owned and/or distributed by record company
- Secure synchronization licenses for outside songs on videos owned and/or distributed by record company
- Secure video licenses from outside publishers for videos owned and/or distributed by record company
